The Zane Grey Megapack edition by Zane Grey Literature Fiction eBooks
Zane Grey wrote these stories in the 1900 to 1925 period. Expect the phraseology and dialog to be consistent with this period. One of his best-known stories is "Riders Of The Purple Sage". This is included, as is the sequel, "The Rainbow Trail". If you've read "Riders" and have wondered whatever became of Jane and Lassiter, you'll appreciate "Rainbow Trail" Many of the stories are of the "Old West", but there are also a number that deal with baseball and one describing the problems of returnees from the First World War.Product details

The Zane Grey Megapack edition by Zane Grey Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Zane Gray builds his stories with infinite attention to details. Good descriptive powers are unmatched as he gives us the Old West with it's people and places so vivid we see them and love them as Gray did.
Got tired of paying full price for Louis L'amour books so I thought I'd give Zane Grey a try since I've heard about his works all my life. I could kick myself for waiting this long to read something by him. I can't imagine anyone not enjoying Mr. Grey.
I enjoyed almost all of these novels. The author writes of an area with which I am very familiar. I find it fascinating to read his descriptions of this place and era as it was only about 100 years ago. I find Zane Grey a very enjoyable writer. I wish that he had written even more stories.
A very time consuming read, but well worth it. I like the fact that the original manuscripts of some of the stories were used instead of the ones greatly altered by the publisher. Although the ones altered were popular enough to sell well and make Zane Grey a household word, his unedited stories were much better because they explain so much more, especially encompassing his original intent for the stories. I also loved the baseball stories. While I'm not a great sports fan (I was when I was younger -) , Zane had such a flair for interesting detail, that I truly got wrapped up in baseball! Amazing (if you knew me you would know the meaning of this remark)! Now, I'm on the way to getting his next megapack of 20 stories!
Got this after visiting the Zane Grey museum in Ohio. I'd never read any of his books, thought I'd seen them at flea markets and antique stores. Anyway, I read, "Riders of the Purple Sage" and decided I like his style, I bought this so I could continue reading his books.
If you like good Western books, I would highly recommend this! Also, there are some baseball books mixed in, but I haven't gotten to them yet. If you are unsure about buying this, maybe try one of Zane Grey's books that are offered for free on . I started with Betty Zane, loved the book and ended up buying this!
I love the stories but I bought this for my e-book and for some reason after reading only a small portion (1st 2 books), my kindle white started rebooting about every 5 minutes. I contacted and at first they thought it was just my kindle so they told me to send it in and they would repair or replace it, which I did and while I was waiting for them to send it back, I tried to read on my old keyboard type kindle. After reading only a short portion of the book my kindle started to reboot every few pages again and finally froze up completely. apologized and agreed with me that there was a problem with the this particular e-book being downloaded. Again took good care of me, and sent me a brand new kindle, my problem is that I'm now afraid to try and download the book again because I don't want to mess up my kindles again. If anyone else had this problem I'd like to hear about it. Thank you.
